Architectural and building characteristics: The building is located in a strategic position, close to the Tiberina island and the historic Trastevere district. The main façade opens onto Lungotevere Raffaello Sanzio where the main entrance is situated, whilst the back sides give onto Via Modena and onto Via Filipperi on the western side. The building distinguishes itself owing to the rich decorations of the friezes, the stucco-work and decorations around the windows which make the façade stand out. It has a quadrangular plan with three staircases and two elevators in the centre, and the offices are situated on all four sides.
