Architectural and construction characteristics: The entire building complex dates back to the end of the 19th century and reflects the style of the neighbouring Via Nazionale, built immediately after 1870 for the designation of Rome as capital city. It was transformed into a four star hotel, flaunting 80 rooms with a gym, a conference hall and a spa.
The last floor has a roof garden and a solarium.
The six floors are organized in such a way as to confer a vision of continuity and harmony in relation to the surrounding buildings, which together with the hotel’s façade face on via Palermo, and representing a perfect example of neo-classic architecture.
On the outside, the surface of the building’s foundation is covered in polished white stone, while the rest of the building is subdivided into two horizontal blocks each comprising two floors.
The fifth floor, being the last floor crowns the hotel and is well distinguished from the rest of the building which is entirely plastered and painted.
