The Megas Fund (previously David) became operative in June 2009 with initial subscribed equity equal to €100,000,000 issued in 2,000 units each with a value of €50,000. The duration of the sub-fund is of 25 years and allows for subsequent capital increases.

During 2009, the Megas Fund  (previously David) acquired the Galleria Colonna in Rome, also known as "Galleria Alberto Sordi", a highly prestigious historic property renowned as one of Italy's finest due its very central location and the value of its architectural structure. Further, during 2010, the sub-fund acquired the historic building in Piazza Cordusio, 2 in Milan.

During 2012, the Megas Fund  (previously David), acquired the Queensberry House in London, the first investment in the United Kingdom’s real estate market, situated in the Mayfair district. The building was sold on january 30th 2015 to Norges Bank Investment Management.
In 2013,  the Megas Fund  (previously David) acquired the Palazzo delle Poste of Carrara, completely coated in one of the most prestigious local marbles and designed by the renowned Architect Giuseppe Boni.
