The entities involved in the management of Real Estate Funds are:
Savings Management Company (SGR)
The SGR defines the management policy guidelines contained in the Fund’s Management Regulation and is responsible for the activities of investment, management and disposition of assets of the Fund, as well as the coordination of the activities conferred to outsourcing partners such as property management, facility management and agency services.
Depository Bank
The Depository Bank is responsible for the custody of the financial instruments and liquidity of the Fund.
Independent Surveyors
Independent Surveyors are professional service providers as defined in Ministerial Decree n. 228/1999. They prepare and issue valuations every 6 months on real estate properties, beneficial real estate property rights and stakes in real estate companies in which the Fund invests.
Supervisory Entities and Authorities
The system of supervisory controls relative to the Real Estate Funds is presided over by Banca d’Italia, Consob and Borsa Italiana, as well as the auditing firm and the SGR’s Board of Statutory Auditors.
