Carlo Santini
Chairman
He began his executive career at Banca d’Italia in 1961 and served several roles until 2000, including: Head of Foreign Relations, Head of Research, Head of Operations, Head of Economic Research. From 1998 to 2002 he was Vice President of the Department for Balance Sheet Supervision, from 2000 to 2005 he was Managing Director for the Italian Foreign Exchange Office and Professor of International Monetary Economics at LUISS G. Carli University. Since 2005 he is President of CARIFE SIM Spa, Board Member of Banca Sella Spa and Professor for the Masters Degree in International Economics at the University of Rome, Tor Vergata.
Valter Mainetti
Chief Executive Officer
Entrepreneur. From the mid 70s to 1999 he ran the group of companies controlled by his family. He has worked both in Italy and abroad and held various positions in finance, real estate and construction. In these companies he performed managerial roles both in real estate and financial transactions. Since 1987 he has lead the holding for the real estate sector, SAGEFIM PARTECIPAZIONI S.p.A. (now TIBERIADE - Servizi Finanziari S.p.A.). Since 1999 he has been responsible for real estate funds and served as the managing director of SGR SORGENTE Spa and SORGENTE GROUP Spa. He is also the chairman for the Sorgente Group Foundation, Institute for Art and Culture. He is a professor at the University of Parma, Faculty of Economics, for the Master’s degree in Finance and Risk Management and teaches courses in Real Estate Funds and Real Estate.

Stefano Cervone
Board Member
He graduated in Economics and Business from "Luiss" University of Rome. He is a certified public accountant, certified financial auditor, CIA and a lecturer at the school for the finance police (Guardia di Finanza). He gained his professional experience working at the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro and INI SpA. He is vice chairman of the Italian Association of Internal Auditors. A manager and auditor in real estate and finance companies, executive director and then managing director of Sorgente SGR SpA, since 2009 he has been the managing director of the Sorgente Group SpA – Italy.
Carlo Gilardi
Board Member
Executive at the Bank of Italy until 1985, he then became Financial Director for the Banca di Roma and then CEO for the Benetton Group and Cofiri S.p.A. He is Board Member of many financial companies and institutions.
Giancarlo Zapponini
Independent Board Member
He holds a degree in engineering with specialization in transport from the Pacific Western University in California. He is currently Editor and Chief Executive Officer at the market research publishing house Guida Monaci. For two years he was the president of the European Association Publisher Directory (EAPD).
